Hi, I’m Jen. Thanks for visiting!

My first cameras were the Pentax K1000 and the Kodak Cameo Motor 110 film cameras, which sparked my interest in photography while on a family reunion in 2003.  A native of Connecticut, I earned my BFA in Photojournalism from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2009.  I've now been working in Connecticut as a professional portrait photographer for over 10 years, although my work has taken me throughout Connecticut and as far as Ohio.

In 2012 I was named a semi-finalist Photographer of the Year with RAW Artists: Hartford, now known as RAW: Connecticut.  I love being able to capture single moments in time which might otherwise be overlooked. 

I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting adventures.  I am based in central Connecticut but love to travel wherever my camera and passport will allow me to go.  I want to take your picture.  Let’s make it happen!
